They announced that due to the very high student pass rate, the quality of work, excellent staff support for those students doing the degree and the confidence held in HTMI’s future ability, HTMi has been awarded the higher level degree, the
Bachelor of Science (honours) in International Hotel and Tourism Management.
This can now be conferred on our students at HTMi and will be run twice per year. This is the highest honour that any University has awarded to a Swiss Hotel school. It raises the quality level of the Degree delivered at HTMi to new heights in
HTMi Launches new Degree, Bachelor of Arts Hotel and Events Management.
Students that graduate at Bachelor Degree level will receive two degrees, oneElectives for the new Degree awarded by HTMi.
For those students that wish to specialize in a specific area, for example Casino Management, Resort Management, Bar Management, Cruise-line Management, Restaurant Management or other, they may do so through a research paper and then HTMi can change the title of the degree to Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel and Events Management to: Hotel and Resort Management; or Hotel and Casino Management; and so on. This will help HTMi students to specialise their careers towards specific aspects of the hospitality industry.
